Welcome!
L to R:
Leno, Kuehl, Goldberg, Laird, and Kehoe
Welcome
to the California Legislative Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender
(LGBT) Caucus!
The LGBT Caucus was originally formed in June 2002.
Its role is to present a forum for the California Legislature to
discuss issues that affect lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender
Californians and to further the goal of equality and justice for all
Californians. The LGBT
Caucus’ formation made California the first state in the country to
recognize an official caucus of openly-LGBT state legislators.
Through this web
site you can learn more about the Caucus’ members, important
legislation affecting LGBT Californians, news and upcoming
events, and get more information on relevant issues by visiting the
Resources page. We hope you find this web site useful and thank you for
visiting the California Legislative LGBT Caucus!
Sincerely,
Assemblymember
