  • Biography

    Kevin Jeffries is currently President and partner of his privately held family investment firm, and recently stepped down from is job with the Riverside County Fire Department. Kevin is a native Californian and moved to Riverside County in 1971. Kevin and his wife Christina have been married for 24 years. They reside in Lake Elsinore and have two adult children. Kevin, age 46, comes from an entrepreneurial family with a history of successful business ventures in manufacturing, investments, retail and custom car designs. Kevin is a graduate of Elsinore High School and has been successfully pursuing certification in various Emergency Incident Management related courses.

    Kevin Jeffries is a lifelong Republican with a proven history of working for fiscally conservative, pro-taxpayer, pro-business and jobs values. Kevin served an unprecedented seven (7) years a Chairman of the Republican Party of Riverside County and served as a delegate to the California Republican Party and its Executive Committee, Platform Committee and County Chairmen’s Association.

    With 29 years and over 4000 emergency responses, Kevin has a long and trusted history of public safety service. Kevin started as a Volunteer Firefighter in 1977 and worked up to the rank of Engineer. In 1992 Kevin was promoted to head up the Riverside County Fire Department Mobile Emergency Operations Center Team, where he held the rank of Volunteer Captain. Kevin received five meritorious Service Awards, and was awarded honors from Brigadier General James D. Selk for his service during the Los Angeles riots. Kevin has been an advocate of increased public safety staffing and served for many years as a Fire Department Emergency Services Coordinator, Volunteer Firefighter Program Manager and Grant Writer, successfully obtaining several million dollars in grant funds for critically needed fire and rescue equipment. Kevin and his wife Chris (who for many years with a Law Enforcement agency), are truly dedicated to making our communities safe.

    Kevin Jeffries has an impressive history as a dedicated community servant. With his strong business and fiscally conservative credentials, Kevin recently retired as President of the Western Municipal Water District and has over 19 years of local government experience as a Water District Director, and as a Parks and Recreation District Director. Kevin previously served as a commissioner and Chairman of the Riverside County Local Agency Formation Commission, Riverside County Parks and Recreation Advisory Commissioner, Economic Development Committee Chairman, Chamber of Commerce Board member and Board member with the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival Association.

    Kevin and his family practice their faith with Cornerstone Community Church in Wildomar.

    Kevin Jeffries comes from a family of custom car building and Sprint and INDY car racing. Kevin and his wife enjoy attending Sprint Car races, as well as jet skiing.
