EMPLOYEE COMMENDATION PROCESS

 

 

The Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms Department invites positive feedback regarding our employees and service. Encouraging comments can have a great effect in boosting morale and are very much appreciated.

PROCEDURE

Any citizen desiring to submit a letter of commendation or just let us know we're doing a good job can do so by contacting us three ways.

  • You may go in person to the Assembly Chief Sergeant-at-Arms office (State Capitol Building Room 3171, Sacramento, CA 95814) Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.


  • You may call (916) 319-2808 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. A letter may be faxed to the Chief Sergeants office at (916) 319-2812.

    If possible, include the name of the employee you are commending in your letter. If you don't have the persons name a description of them will help us identify and commend the employee. Please incorporate brief explanation of the circumstances (including date, time and location) that prompted you to contact our office.
