Support Staff:

Executive Secretary: The Chief Sergeant at Arms office is staffed by his Executive Secretary to ensure that the needs of the Membership are met. The Executive Secretary coordinates and manages Capitol Garage/Loading Dock Access Security (CGAS) for the State Capitol. The Executive Secretary is also a liaison with the legislative staff, law enforcement offices, state, and other public agencies.

Property Controller: This position is essential to the security of the State Capitol and Legislative Office Building (LOB). The Property Controller issues identification cards, keys, and electronic access cards to all Assembly Members and their staff. Assembly identification cards, keys, and electronic access cards are deemed controlled items to ensure the security of all persons in the Capitol Building and the Legislative Office Building (LOB).

Committee Coordinator: Primary responsibility is to manage the use of the seven Assembly Committee Rooms. The Assembly presently has 28 standing Committees, 9 Sub Committees, 45 Select Committees and 11 Joint Committees. The Committee Coordinator serves as the liaison to the Committee secretaries and outside agencies. Coordinator's office monitors adherence to all appropriate rules and regulations that govern the use of Committee Rooms.
